Anybody know how to rotate the logs for a secure (SSL)
Netscape Enterprise server (v3) without relying on the
NS admin server - that is, using cron (Solaris)?
Apparently, the web server gets installed with a "rotate" script
which in turns invokes a "stop" and "start" script, but without
the password that this server asks for, the start fails and so
the SSL server dies upon rotate.
Using "kill -HUP <pid>" instead simply kills the server (unlike a
live restart if the pid number belonged to inetd, fer instance.)
