DNS problem

Hello,
I want to create a virtual domain .com in my server, this is the first 
time that I want to register a domain .com, I did all the process 
with networksolution.com and godaddy.com and when they ask me 
for my dns server where I have the site hosted I type the name of 
my server and the problem comes they say that my server is not a 
registered name server, some one can help me or knows wich is the 
problem?
