Looking at my web stats for February, one of my most frequent visitors seems
to request a single file (graphic or html) and then waits a while and
requests another. The requests go on like this all month at all hours of the
day. Every request is coded 304. Here's one of the raw log entries (IIS 4):

2000-02-01 10:51:15 [Visitor's IP Here] - GET /images/gnav2_logo.gif 304 141
0 Mozilla/3.01+(compatible;) -

The requests come in at all hours. When I looked up what the 304 status
message is, I'm told:

304 - Not Modified (And generically for all 3xx codes: This code tells the
client that the browser should be redirected to another URL in order to
complete the request. This is not an error condition.)

So what could this be? The files requested are all there, so I don't know
why a redirect status code is generated. Some sort of robot is my guess. A
site monitoring program? Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
