With Acrobat 4 I can create a  catalogue of all pdf files within a folder.
Can this be placed onto a web site for an Acrobat search on the site?
Would I need to upload a plugin for viewers to do this?

I looked at PDF search programs and Perl is beyond me and the other software
packages I found were as high as $18,000.

I just want viewers of the site to be able to do a word search within pdf
files. It sounds simple but ...

Any ideas? There must be inexpensive software available?
