I haven't tried it, but I would be very surprised if you could get
Internet Explorer to run from a CD. Most Windows 9x/NT software has to
be installed in order to function. The problem is DLLs, which have to be
properly registered before hay can be used. There may be ways to get
around this, but I can't imagine they will be at all easy.
