Miva Merchant VS ShopSite Pro

Good Day!

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with either Miva 
Merchant or ShopSite Pro? I particularly would like to hear from 
someone that has had experience using both. I don't want to start 
a flame war here, that won't help me. I just need real life 
experiences and information about learning curves, ease of use, 
updating the site, bugs, and any success stories would be great.

I have a client that would like to use one of these programs for his 
store front on the web.
