Macromedia and Allaire to merge

I just received a message from Macromedia announcing their 
merger with Allaire. How will Dreamweaver and Homesite co-exist? 
Is this a good thing? What about Flash? Any comments on or off 
list would be helpful. I was considering moving to one or the other 
of the two HTML products mentioned above. Now, I don't know 
what to think.

Any advice would be appreciated.
