The answer will depend on what you plan to implement. If you plan on
connecting to ODBC Sources (or ADODB), using server side scripting then you
should be comparing Cold Fusion to Visual Interdev (Active Server Pages). If
you just want a HTML Editor with limited functionality then I would take
FrontPage '98 over Cold Fusion. Front Page allows tagging of document
allowing you to take advantage at a later date of Site Server.

We recently opened a new department dedicated exclusively to leased lines
and intranet solutions. Our work is based on NT servers and we are on the
process of deciding which tools to use for intranet design.

Windows NT Server comes with FrontPage 98 for free, but i had seen great
comments on Allaire Cold Fusion. Despite the fact that i's not free, what we
want it's a powerful and reliable tool.

Can anyone help me on deciding which the best choice? Also, CF integrates
well into IIS environment and supports MS Proxy Server 2.0 and MS Exchange?

I know i may be asking odd questions (maybe CF doesn't have anything to do
with Exchange, or something like that), but my job it's to present a study
of potential tools and i'm afraid i don't have the knowledge on this issues,
yet. Our department will only serve customers in about 6 months. We are busy
now programming courses, making plans and acquiring personnel and equipment.
