It really depends on what you plan to use it for.

Interdev is fantastic for accessing databases (delete,add,update),
programming in ASP or Javascript and for hooking into Site Server using
DTC's. Add version control (sourcesafe) and you have one amazing development
environment. It also has an excellent tool for css.

However, it really doesn't compete in the "page design" world. I am sure
everyone on this list can think of a better tool to do page layout, DHTML,
site maintenance.

I saw an example of Vis Interdev 6 in action last week,
and my first thought was "This is the first program
I've ever seen that takes Homesite 4 and just about
knocks it into the ground."

Has anyone had enough experience with it to tell
me whether my first impression was the right one
or not? I love HS4, I don't like using MS products,
and I'm hoping I was wrong. But boy, that's one 
powerful app.
