Problem with hidden fields in Netscape browser

Hi,

I have the following problem with Netscape 4.51 and not with IE 5.0:

I have a form with a text field and a hidden field.
When I fill in the text field, I open another browser window. From the
new browser window I set the hidden field.

WHen I click on a link in my original window and hit the back button:
The text field stil has the new value. but the hidden field is reset
to the value it had when I went to the page.

Has anybode a workaround for this problem?
