Sorry for the delay in response - I only get the digest and this is the 1st
one for ages.

That fixed the margins just fine, but now #main overlaps the floated DIV,
and none of the links in the latter work. (A bit of a disaster for a
navigation panel!) So, I guess I need to live with the positioning being
off - I am sure there is a workaround but I'm a bit busy to spend ages
playing with this now.

Thanks for the help anyway - one more to chalk up to experience :-)
