I have thrown in the towel. Eliminating lists from the document have eliminated all other problems. In answer to some of your helpful questions: Yes I did validate the CSS, XML and XHTML. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- I could never get stylesheets to work with my XHTML.
