Hi, this is the first drop-in for me. I need a bit of help=20
on background images in table cells. Now, as usual,=20
IE works just fine. The problem is in Netscape.

I need to let the user customize the colors of a page.
I want to do so by changing once in an external CSS,=20
and not in every dynamically generated page.=20

I want a background color in a cell. Over the "bkgr color"=20
I want a partly transparant gif (every second pixel line=20
is transparent, to get a "blinds" effect). And on top of=20
that I want my text content. All in one cell.

I do have the option to generate the gif with software,=20
so that the transp. parts are replaced with the cell=20
bkgr color instead, in order to skip the bgcolor bit. But=20
I STILL can not get it to work properly in Netscape. It=20
works ok in some N. browsers but looks really ugly=20
in others. Has anyone found a way around this?

BTW, I need it to work in all 4.x versions of IE and N.=20
Anyone? You really would save my week!
