The main style sheet is 

http://adele.gpelearning.com/_styles/gpe.css

That imports

http://adele.gpelearning.com/_styles/gpe_hide.css

I'm in the process of working on the site, so the style sheets are
changing around quite a bit.

But now that I think about it, perhaps you *should* also look at the
home page, because I use that same trick on the home page to hide the
grey background swoosh from NN4, and it works just fine. The stylesheets
are

http://adele.gpelearning.com/_styles/gpeHome.css and
http://adele.gpelearning.com/_styles/gpeHome_hide.css

There's an div with ID=homePage, and that's what contains the graphic.
But the ID definition is *only* in the imported stylesheet - not in the
main one. Perhaps that makes a difference?
