I use Topstyle 2.0 which does a great job of keeping me ontrack.  I worked
out a usable .CSS file two years ago mostly from trial and error and I just
tweek it as I go along.  I have it set up very conservatively for NN 4.7 so
that it's very universal.  I also kept the font sizes all large.  This makes
it easier to read and I get no complaints from Mac users.

My current project is to convert a 1600 page website from HTML 4.0 Sloppy,
to XHTML Validated.  This is grueling and tedious.  My main problem is with
sliced images.  I use them in several places as a menu and the validated
code has a problem with Netscape 6.x    It leaves horizontal gaps between

Part of the problem is in opinion.  It seems that some people at the W3C
thought slices and maps were a "trendy" kind of thing to be looked down on
so they neglected to do anything here.   The proprietary body tags like
marginheight and width are of course a big no-no.

If anyone has a CSS workaround for this problem, I would really like to hear
it.
