External style sheets do work in Netscape, one just needs JavaScript enab=
led.
I can't quite remember the historical details for this, but I know I've r=
ead
about it before on this list. Something I've found when using external st=
yle
sheets in Netscape, is that they don't function if I include the type
attribute in the <link> tag. They do, however, work if I just use:
<.link rel=3Dstylesheet href=3D"stylesheet.css">
I've also seen the <.style> tag included before/after the <.link> tag (ie=
<.style type=3D"text/css"><!----><./style>), which also seems to work. (A=
ll
periods excluded.) Maybe, someone can explain this phenomenon and let me =
know
what terrible HTML/CSS faux pas I'm making by leaving out the type attrib=
ute.
:)
Oh, and sorry, I can't help out with the "src" problem.
Cheers
Sharon
