centered to what? the page or the table cells??? you
say you don't want the table or contents to move when
the window is resized but that will mean it won't be

stick to clean HTML - for example I only ever use
table cells for positioning - never DIV tags


I assume I have just misunderstood you. I would set
each table cell to specific sizes and if you want the
whole lot centred, place a centre tag either side of
the table (this will centre the page contents). If you
want a table fixed in place on the page use a table
cell running down the length of the page as a margin.

Avoid using percentages in table cell size and to lock
the whole thing down tight, use a table covering the
whole page.

What you are trying to do is not that hard but you
need to explain it a bit better I think!
