Actually IE renders faster than Netscape.  Netscape has to wait until
closing tags while IE will start rendering on the fly and adjust
accordingly.  Putting one table around your whole page will cause a great
difference in IE and Netscape.

<sigh> It's true that the webwriter is limited in trying to write to
Netscape but as a browser, it's so much better than IE that I accept the
simplification. On every machine I've ever worked on or visited, IE took at
least twice as long to load all kinds of pages and was just not as easy to
use. I keep it on another machine to check web pages but won't let it any
where near my primary NT machine because it's just too intrusive to the
operating system.
