When ever I put an email address in a page I put the @ in ascii (@)
am I correct in assuming that this will ward off the email culling
spiders? I call them spambots.

the question is by *you* visiting a page, can that page owner grab
*your* email address. ... I believe the answer no, IP, browser, OS, sure
... email address no.

... though you're correct there are many mail culling spiders visiting
pages looking for addresses.
