Hello all,
Two of my clients need a LIVE chat system for their sites. The sites are
hosted by a company that provides a very basic Java Applet chat that is
okay, but is lacking in decent features (most notably, a "Who's On" list).
We've tried a generic HTML/ASP version that offers some of what they need,
but it is incredibly slow, and isn't quite LIVE.
The sites are both on NT-based servers, so a preference would be for a
system that can function properly in this environment. We would also be
willing to consider a system that is hosted on a different system and can be
opened in a separate window (to allow the main window to remain on the
appropriate site).
Features we would like to have:
** A list of current users
** Ability to create subchannels/rooms (optional)
** Ability to send private messages from one user to another
** One site requires locked, members-only access, so it can't be linked to
IRC channels
Thanks in advance,
Kehvan M. Zydhek
