AOL does not support HTML email (stationery)...there's a weird workaround (see http://everythingemail.tripod.com/emailbasics.html for instructions), but it doesn't work on all AOL browsers & in effect takes stationery & turns it into an attachment & defeats the purpose. If she wants to use stationery for her emails, then that same page lists the major email programs in which she can do so (there is a link on that page for her to go to the home page of Outlook Express for Macs, which does support HTML mail), she will also find a lot of info on email (although mostly PC-based) at that site (home page: http://everythingemail.tripod.com ) HTH, Lady Wistfulee P.S. The site is optimized for IE4+ & nn4+ since those are the browsers come with email clients that support HTML mail & yes it's mine, but there's no reason anyone else should have to go through the 100's of hours of research I did : ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Martin McCarthy" <roland(at)ninehells.org> To: "Karen Stafford" <webmaster(at)noteworthydesigns.com>; "HWG Techniques" <hwg-techniques(at)hwg.org> Sent: Thursday, May 25, 2000 9:36 PM Subject: Re: file extensions and going from PC to Mac : Try gif or jpg. If that doesn't work, then the problem isn't the format, : it's a PEBKAC. It could be the program your client is trying to use to : view/print the image. I'd suggest that she download JPEGview, a freeware(I : think, shareware at the very least). : As for including the image in all of her emails, I don't really know. I'm : used to using real email clients. ;D : She or you would probably be able to find something on aol. Tell her to go : to keyword help and she should be able to figure it out from there. : : Martin McCarthy : : : At 11:12 AM -0500 5/25/00, Karen Stafford wrote: : >I have a customer who would like the logo I filled in for her to be sent : >to her so she could use it for stationery.
