The font size in the Win system settings is something that you can do
nothing about. Like other settings the user chooses, and fonts installed,
this is beyond your control. And unlike some other things, it's more fiddly
to change (usually requires a reboot), so folks are less inclined to bother
just for one site, I guess.

(I have an old 486 set to large fonts just to check this sort of thing
doesn't make my pages unusable. Don't have to be as pretty (like in NS/IE3
or Lynx), but at least the text should be readable.)

There is anecdotal evidence that older computer-literate users (i.e. those
who know how to control their desktop etc.) are more likely to choose large
fonts, to make it easier to read things on a high-res screen. So, as the
internet generation gets older, you might expect more people to have
problems with your menu :-(
