Speaking of Netscape problems...
since v4.2, I can't get midis to work to save my life! I have written to
Netscape over and over again, and their support staff is so incompetant,
it's pathetic. Takes them 3 months to answer the email, and they don't
bother to answer the question... I had 3 different people write me at
different times, and I had to explain the problem over and over again.
Which didn't do any good, since the next person who would answer didn't know
what the heck I wanted. I just upgraded to Netscape 6, and it still doesn't
work, grrr.
So I'm turning to you, my humble fellow web developers... I need a good tag
for midis. (please no "I hate midis" discussion, this is for my home pages)
I'm currently using <embed> tags, and have tried both <embed> and <bgsound>
with Netscape, to no avail. Is there *any* solution to this, other than
using Flash? If there's a CSS tag that I can use, I'd happily take it! If
Netscape doesn't support it without Crescendo, let me know that too, because
I'll put up a link on my site and suggest Netscape users get the plugin.
Thanks!
