cgi script needed

Could anyone help me find a script or point me in the right direction?  I've
got a website with folders that are protected by htaccess.  I have an order
form that automatically writes the ID and password to the htaccess file.
I'm now trying to figure out a script that will automatically delete an id
from the htaccess file after 10 days.  I've also got the data writing to a
txt file containing the date.
