Marge,
Browsed several pages at your site with IE6, but couldn't find any "weird"
width or height values for images. In fact, the only image with height and
width was <img src="images/bpurple.gif" WIDTH="504" HEIGHT="10">, which
occurred on several pages that I visited. So I guess I'm saying that I don't
understand what your problem is.
Like you, I adjust the size of each image in my graphics program, then
export it as gif or jpg, depending on its application on a page. My
experience has been that, if I try to use height and width values in the img
src tag itself, and those values vary significantly from the size of the
original image, the image on the page looks lousy.
At first, I thought you meant that you were setting the img src tag values
with nothing in them; that is, width="" and height="" So I was guessing
that perhaps Netscape was filling in the values. But I can't find that in
your source code this morning.
Keep us posted on your progress...
Billy Dean

Is your home on the web an elegant, user-friendly place to visit?
Do the colors, images, layout & style please my eyes?
Can visitors interact and navigate intuitively?
Do the features mesh to create balance & harmony?
Does it focus on function & content or smoke & mirrors?
Does it show that I am serious about my home on the web?
Will it attract people who share my values and interests?
