I really don't think a rude response like yours was called for.  That being
said...

What David was pointing out is that *browsers* don't comply with W3C
standards, so what is the point of designing sites to that "perfection"?

As for me, I'll skip walking the bleeding edge until it gets a little duller
and most browsers require it.
