Actually no.  We are noticing several things in Netscape 6 that should be
working, but are not.  In my case it was sliced images.  There is nothing
odd or non-standard about tables with images in them.  Netscape clearly was
doing something wrong.

If you remove the URI trailer from the doctype statement everything seems to
work normally.  Someone else pointed out that this URI is not really used.
It is 60K in size and is not pulled up by the browser at all.  It is also
considered an accessory and not required. Why Netscape 6 was messing things
up, I don't know.  Actually it should be considered a 1.0 version program
because they threw out everything everything and started from scratch.  It
is a brand new browser.

I like Netscape 6 a lot by the way. The look and feel are great and once you
figure out how to make the links bar go in and out, it really is nice.

 I have had my own problems with I.E. 6 as well.  I.E. 6 seems to barf a
lot.  Hard to tell where the problem is since they don't upgrade all of the
browser every time.  Anyway the I.E. 6 problems were easy to fix by changing
the .css files I had.
