hi evelyn :-)
very simple very old trick:
create a transparent gif, size 1x1 pixel
put it at the bottom of the left column
set the size to width=175 height=1
(175 is the set width of the column; check out what makes it look best with
small screen/resolution)
btw looks ok on 14" 800x600 anyway

ps: you have an empty table cell in the middle; netscape doesn't like that
;-)
you could use the singel pixel gif there too (or use the spacer element for
netscape)
