Thanks to all those responses and I can see that in future support for such
things may be needed in browsers ;-)
Someone mentioned that there was a better way to do the site without using
frames - I am new to this so could someone elaborate on this the URL for the
site was: http://www.leighctc.kent.sch.uk/~hiu

As a matter of interest how do other people get round the problem?  I have
seen how to change the text in the bar at the bottom of the browsers which
is a sort of botch solution but is there no other way?
I don't believe that I am the only person to come across this problem,
thanks again for your help guys.
