Four of us have tried half the day to resolve this problem. I'm afraid this
website is on an Intranet so I can't let you see it.

Maybe someone can at least point us in the right direction. I've got a
website on an NT server (running IIS - with FrontPage extensions). The site
is built in FrontPage. I need to link to a folder on another NT server (not
a web server - just a file server). This folder has restricted access.
Everything works fine in IE - they are challenged when entering the folder
and only authorized individuals are allow access). My problem comes in when
they use NetScape to access the file. We have tried permissions at each and
every level and each and every combination (FrontPage permission through a
subweb with links to the folder - NT permissions at the folder level - IIS-
virtual web). My problem is we can't get the NT challenge box to come up in
NetScape - we can get a passthrough authentification. I need the challenge
box because several of the users are at another location and must access
with a domain ID we have provided (their ID will not authenticate).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to do an
ID and password check through a database if I don't have to.
