A good pre-load script??

Hello all, my biz partner is part of this list, but he's off for the week
and I'm stuck in a bind. I'm still getting used to the back end of things
such as coding and debuging, so bear with me. What I'm looking for, if
anyone knows of one that's easy to use, is a good pre-load script to
pre-load dual image flips. As it is right now, they load but only after you
rest your mouse on the link for about 2 or 3 seconds.  I've searched the web
and found a few scripts, but they don't offer much info on where exactly the
script should be inserted in the source code. There's already script that
was created by Fireworks that was exported into the web layout program code,
do I just alter that?? Or do I insert the pre-load code into another area??
If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
