Fits with Analog!

Hi all--

Thought I'd wear my ignorance on my sleeve and give lots of you a good
laugh...

I'm having fits! I downloaded "Analog" several days ago to assist me in
interpreting my server logs, and since I'm no "techy," I'm having a heck of
a time figuring out how to get this baby to work. Is there something,
somewhere that can explain to me how to use this program in *plain* English?
I'm not stupid, but after two nights of reading & reading & trial & error &
error & error, and {{{frustration}}}, I sure feel that way.

Seems I don't know squat about configuring the analog.cfg doc, and I'm not
making much progress on my own...
