Roger,
this is very feasible, and very easy to do. Larry Ulman wrote the PHP Visual
Quickstart guide, and in the second book, he does just this same project
with his book collection. I would suggest getting the book, or you can visit
his site at http://dmcinsights.com/phpadv/ for the advanced version which
has the script in it. He also has a forum that you could ask in as well.
