Judy,
For some incomprehensible reason, the IIS5 documentation includes no hints
on how to do a search without using FP, though IIS4 help used to describe
the exact process. It is possible, not too difficult, and there are two ways
to do it. Either using an ASP search form all-in-one, or three files: an
HTML form for entering the search query, an IDQ file with the query, and an
htx file to format the results. (If you are sneaky, you can find the htx
and IDQ created by FrontPage and recycle those!)
I am sure there must be loads of web pages that describe how to do this -
I'd start with the MS KB and work outwards.
Kind regards,
Lois Wakeman
