Hi everyone,

I have a client that would like to place a scroll (vertical) in one part of
a page and then next to it a variety of pictures (and possibly text) that
will fade in and out.

I am not experienced in flash and very limited in javascript. I thought
perhaps using a table layout with one row and two columns would work. I
have the scroll working but have no idea about the fade in/outs. The client
will provide the images.

Does anyone have any advice on how to achieve this with some javascript?

Also, the scroll starts over anytime the page is reloaded/refreshed. I have
tried to convince him that a static table or list of these items would be
better but he is stuck on this scroll thing. Can the scroll be prevented
from starting over each time the page is loaded?

One more thing....and one can only shake their head at this.....the client
only wants to focus on IE and completely ignore NN! Even though a majority
of his potential clientele are educators!!!!! I cannot convince him
otherwise.

Any advice on or off list would be really appreciated.
