Advice? E-brochures in multiple formats

Hi all
I have a client that wants several electronic brochures done.
They need the brochures on CD-ROM, Web page and as emailers.
Their brief is that the content must be easily changeable (which immediately
rules out pdf) and that it must print correctly with look and feel intact
from all three formats.
Now, I have the ability to author in Director as well as html, but I want to
get this right first time.
I'm interested to know what suggested combinations of media you all would
use for this one.
I'm thinking html across the board with stylesheets for screen layout and
print, divided across Operating systems, browsers and for printing.
Appreciate any input.
