I have a problem and wanted to get your opinions. I have developed a
web-site for a customer/friend over the past several months. I put a lot of
extra time into it and have given lots of free time and additional
links/submissions etc.

The problem is, that the business has split up ownership. One of the
partners has retained the business, property, name and everything. The
leaving partner has the .com address filed in his name through Network
Solutions and does not want to relinquish ownership of the URL. Matter of
fact he asked me to dump all of the files from the server. To compound the
problem His ex-partner girlfriend (you get the picture) is paying the
hosting fees.

Should I dump the files as requested by the registered owner of the URL or
just ignore his request since his ex-partner is still paying the hosting
fees and owns the physical business?

Any suggestions welcome
