Actually its great that you brought this up, becasue funnily enough I
developed an ASP system at work using windows 2k IIS and it worked
perfectly.  But after I uploaded it to brinkster, there were many problems
because the values in the session variables were getting "lost".  For
example if I set a session variable in one script and redirected the browser
to another script and tried to use the session variable it would be
empty/null.  However the cookies seemed to work without a hitch.

I suspect that since brinkster is a free server they have some kind of limit
on the resources allocated per person.  Mind you I was only loading a couple
of small values into session variables.  So anyone who is developing for
Brinkster keep an eye out for this let us know how you fare!  I personally
will be ditiching session variable completely when develeloping for
brinkster, and sticking with cookies... thnaks for all who replied
