Hi,
Thanks for help with my drop-down menus - Looks better thanks!
My latest problems is with slow form submission. I've set up a simple 'name
and address' form that sends data to a PERL programme on the server. Nothing
fancy. But the client keeps getting duplicate data and complaints that the
process is very slow to respond. I think people are clicking the 'submit'
button more than once because they think it hasn't worked (because response
is slow), so that several sumbissions are made of the same data.
I'm waiting to hear if the tekkies can speed up the system somehow, but
figure this must be a common problem.. Is there a simple way to disable the
submit button after it has been clicked once? Or is there a more sensible
way of tackling this?
TIA
