Hello all,

One of my clients does a weekly political and current events TV show. He's
interested in putting the audio portion on the web. A few technical
questions come to mind. Any help will be appreciated!

(1) A while back I investigated this for someone else, and at that time,
RealAudio was more popular than Windows Media. Is this still true?
(2) We can use http streaming of RealAudio on our hosting service. What are
the advantages (other than cost!) and disadvantages of http streaming versus
using a Real Audio or Windows Media server?
(3) Can Windows Media be http-streamed as well?
(4) Would it be preferable to break the show into its segments (7-8 minutes
long) and stream them individually, or to stream the entire 22 minutes in a
single file?
(5) How can we determine the approximate size of the audio file(s) (speaking
voices, no music) for capacity planning purposes?

TIA ...
