I agree that we have take personal responsibility for spam and viruses.

If internet users continue to desire a perfect world, the government will
step in to give it to them.  Then we will see the end of the internet as we
know it.  Already, "they" are starting to blame the home user for all of the
current worm and virus woes.

I also use Outlook express.  I filter all emails with attachments to one
folder.  This helps to earmark an email as something to watch out for.
I've never had a virus, but my husband got the klez virus awhile ago because
no matter how many times I told him not to, he opens attachments because "he
knew the guy who sent it".  When I set up his computer on a dsl network with
mine, I configured his email filter to auto delete all emails with
attachments.  I don't think he even knows about it.
