Karen:

Now that you have changed the variables I see that  resolve one of your
problems.  I notice that you call the messages directory whereas in Matt's
script it is called messages.  Check to see that you made the change in the
pl script so that it reads the same or go back and change you message
directory to messages.  Make sure that the permissions for this directory is
777.  Once that is completed we can work on the next step if needed.
