I've used a pop up window that says "please wait" and then closed it with an
onload event.

Subject: Loading progress meter
| Any ideas on how to display an image or message while a page is loading
| and then when the page is completely loaded have the image disappear and
| the page itself show?
|
| I was thinking to that the onLoad event is triggered when the page is
| completely loaded(I think), so it would be a matter of using this event
| to maybe hide a layer or somethinkg. Am I on the write track here?
| Flash has progress metering capabilities, no?
|
| Any help is appreciated.
