Can't Open pdfs

Has anyone run into a problem where some people can open a pdf and others
just get a blank screen?  I'm wondering if it has to do with the size of the
file or their version of Acrobat or the way the file was saved.  I can open
them all fine.  The ones having problems opening the files are on T1 lines
(so I don't think it's a time out problem).
