Dreamweaver - Check In Check out

Hi,

Anyone had any difficulty with Dreamweaver's check in check out
functionality. Site located on a virual server [Apache over the top of
Linux] - not an itranet? Keen to use but just checking if anyone been down
the path before and had problems.
