I guess the final answer to the original question is :---
Yes - it's possible to protect graphics on a webpage
....but it will cost you money, Windows and Mac users will need to download
a plug in and *nix users can't even do that to see the graphics.
It really depends on the customers the client wants as to whether it's worth
all the hassle.
