I have been using it a while so I don't get any surprises later.  Netscape
4.x and I.E. 4 and 5 had little surprises.

Is it stable?  no, it crashes a lot.  It gets real flaky sometimes like when
I run Dreamweaver 4 at the same time, I end up rebooting because it crashes
constantly unless I do.

The worst habit it has is that it seems that left justified is not it's
default setting for <.TD> anymore and a lot of my text and button images
come out screwy looking because of alignment.  I had hoped the last update
would fix this, I don't want to arm wrestle a lot of older tables because
they did something new.

This was something that I always thought was dumb about the early Mosaic
program, (pre-Netscape) the default setting was centered I think.  My first
web pages and many other folks all looked bad because of this.

I.E. doesn't seem to find all my plugins either.  There is a lot of chatter
about this and lots of finger pointing too, but until it is released as a
final version, we don't know if this is on purpose or if it's still being
worked on.


Netscape 6 also dissapoints me.  A lot of my mapped images have been sliced
because this allows the individual images to be linked.  It seems to put
white borders around every cell no matter what I do.  I don't use maps
anymore because they are not indexed at two of the search engines. Netscape
6 is more stable and I like the look feel better.
