no code? How can they do this?

A listener to my radio show on http://bluegrasscountry.org wrote to me, and
in his signature he had a link to his web site.  When I look at the source,
I see there's no HTML apparently there at all. But there has to be, surely.
Can someone explain this to my simple brain please?
