JavaScript and Frames

Hi folks,

I thought this would be easy to figure out, but I'm obviously not too
bright.  I have two frames (upper and lower).  I want a link in the upper
frame to load whatever is in the lower frame to _top.  I've defined a
function in the frameset page called removeframe().  I've tired everything I
can think of but nothing works.  The obvious thing would be

function removeframe() {

top.location.href=lower.location.href

}

However I'm told something silly like permission denied.  So how do I solve
this problem?

Any help is much appreciated.
