I don't think it matters much for "rankings", but there are other potential
problems...

Some search engines track "sources of problems" by IP, and not by domain
name.

Here's a doomsday scenario:  One of the domains on your server (sharing that
server's community IP) is being promoted by a spammer.  The search engine in
question takes action to block the spammers actions - but it uses the site's
IP rather than its domain name.  Now all domains are blocked...

Furthermore, many search engines only permit X number of submission per day.
I'm sure that some of them use IP, rather than URL, detection for
implementing this defensive mechanism.  If you have 250+ domains sharing the
same IP, and plan to heavily promote them, this may be a problem.

Anyway, just some food for thought...
